Being a former Air Force photographer
has given Jim the knowledge and know how that has made him
the award winning photographer that he is today. While stationed at
Langley Air Force Base, Jim had the opportunity to study with some of the best
photojournalists in the Air Force, and has photographed many well known individuals.
He has
photographed Tom Selleck, Miss
America, Brooks Robinson, the Secretary of Defense, Collin Powell and the commanders of Red
China to name a few, and has worked with the F.B.I., O.S.I and other Federal
Agencies as the crime scene photographer.
He was also the photographer of choice for
high profile Department of Defense events such as the Defense Ministerial of the Americans
hosted by President Clinton and Secretary of Defense Perry. Jim was one of
six photographers chosen Air Force wide to document this historic event in
Colonial Williamsburg where over 60 presidents from South American countries
gathered to discuss various defense issues.
He was also contracted by the Army Core of
Engineers to photograph various military instillations across the country for
environmental awareness brochures, and now he is using his vast experience and
expertise to create timeless portraits for you.
Ever since his Air Force days, Jim has
been creating portraits for hundreds of clients all across the country. Currently
Jim resides in Hershey, and is specializing in environmental portraits. “An
environmental portrait frees you from the confines of the studio, allowing you
to use virtually an unlimited supply of settings to capture individuals in
natural settings using natural lighting”, Jim was quoted as saying.
Jim incorporates a mix of both traditional
photography and photojournalism to create portraits that are truly unique. Whether he is creating a timeless children’s portrait, senior portrait
or wedding portrait, you can rest assured that your portraits will be true works
of art.
